ETISALAT, who ended the last campaign with a victory over Guernsey with Heraldic fourth at Al Ain, made a fair reappearance a fortnight ago when only fading a furlong out so should strip fitter and could be good enough. Gundogdu will be sharper for his run over 1m2f at the same fixture but Trenchard, a winner for John Gosden at Kempton, hasn’t done as well as expected in the UAE and was tailed off on his only start on the track. Cachao has won twice over the track and trip and was racing over much further at the end of last season so looks the main threat.
