        Verdict

        Godolphin always target this classic trial and have five engaged. SOFT WHISPER, by Dubawi out of a Sea The Stars mare, looked a smart prospect when landing a Pontefract nursery under top weight and was identified as a probable for this. Her stable companion Last Sunset made a successful debut at Kempton and pulled much too hard on her final start in a Newmarket nursery. Final Thought, another from the yard, improved with each run culminating in landing a Wolverhampton nursery while Charlie Appleby's Looktotherainbow made all for an impressive victory in a novices' event at Kempton. Super Chianti looks the only logical threat to the Godolphin battalions having made a successful debut here in November though the form hasn't worked out.
