        Verdict

        Ertijaal (AUS), a Group 1 winner in South Africa, ran at the highest level here and in Hong Kong last spring so will find this much less demanding though Mike De Kock also runs Light The Lights, a Group 2 winner at Kenilworth and the mount of Christophe Soumillon. Sanshaawes is another from the yard and he won a strong handicap here last January before racing in better company where he wasn't disgraced. CHAMPIONSHIP overcame a long absence to win easily here last January and arrives in excellent form having won a Listed contest at Abu Dhabi a month ago. With fitness guaranteed he looks the one to beat. Maftool beat the useful Cool Cowboy here in February and will be better for his recent run while Richard Fahey's Gabrial is a genuine Listed class performer as he showed when scoring at Windsor in June.
