This is the first meeting of the new season here and all of today's races are run on the Dirt track. AL ZEEM, Sboog and Don't Lie Kitten are in the same ownership with the former wearing the first colours. A son of the high-class USA Dirt horse Old Fashioned, he looks the one to be on. Kahrab didn't show much for Mark Johnston earlier this summer and trainer Rashed Bouresly also runs the filly Decruz, who was well beaten on her only start at Bath in June. Satish Seemar runs the newcomers Al Boraq and the filly Leap Of Hope for the same owner and the presence of Richard Mullen in the saddle suggests the latter is the stable pick.
