        Verdict

        SALUTE THE SOLDIER won this in 2021 and had a light campaign last season having been found to be coughing post-race when favourite on his second start. He's over whatever ailed him judging by an impressive comeback victory over Atletico El Culano and hails from a yard in top form. Algiers will have his supporters after a tremendous return to action in a Group 2 over a mile last month but this looks tougher and Remorse, who was beaten just over a length by him at Jebel Ali a year ago, should go well along with Bendoog, who the latter beat a length here in December.
