Tmaam finished runner-up in a Goodwood handicap on his only start at this trip and found 1m1f much too short at Jebel Ali last week. Royaaty enters the fray in good shape having won at Abu Dhabi last month with Bay Willow and Almiqdaad well behind but he was almost eight lengths behind AVERROES when runner-up over the C&D on New Year's Eve 2011. He's a massive 11lb better off here and should get much closer but the winner is a class act over this sort of trip and Tadhg O'Shea, who has been in superb form of late, can steer him home again. King Charles has had 60 starts in his career, which includes six victories, though he's never raced over a trip this far nor has Finest Reserve.
