        Verdict

        Somalian, a winner at Saint-Cloud in 2011 for Andre Fabre, is one to note for the future while Colour Guard, three times a winner at Southwell and runner-up on his only start here in March, looks well handicapped. Black Snowflake ran easily his best race on the surface when third to Alnashmy here last month when Maath Gool and Canwinn were behind though he'd been beaten by the latter pair at Abu Dhabi earlier. MUNDAHESH scored at Wolverhampton for William Haggas and made a successful start here in November. He's only 3lb higher and, with more progress likely, is taken to complete the double. Ramonti Flash won a maiden in the spring then reappeared to land a handicap but couldn't handle a 7lb rise a couple of weeks later. Maqaraat has been going well at Jebel Ali but has a moderate record on this track.
