Nawwaar has won three of his last four at Abu Dhabi, two of them in Listed company. He's also scored here and is a very speedy front-runner but he's a very rare performer at a trip this short and has shot up the weights. DUX SCHOLAR scored over 5f a year ago before running in the Al Quoz Sprint on World Cup night. He's mainly been confined to longer trips subsequently in much better company so hopefully he's retained enough pace to take advantage of the 5lb he receives from the topweight. Roicead landed a minor handicap in January but couldn't cope with a 9lb rise and better opposition on his next start. Glass Office had a couple of runs here last year but was basically outclassed in races won by Soft Falling Rain. David Simcock's grey hasn't run since an excellent effort in the Group 2 King George Stakes at Goodwood in August but should do well here in the next few weeks though he might just need this. Kavanagh was in fine form at this time a year ago but hasn't quite returned to that sort of level.
