SCARF made an excellent start to his career here two weeks ago when runner-up to Sooraah with several of these including the consistent Canwinn behind. He should be spot-on for this and gets the vote though Ip Man has to be a threat. The Singapore-based gelding looked a classy individual when beating a strong field over the C&D but flopped completely when long odds-on three weeks ago though that was on the Turf track. He's obviously much better than that and another from the same country, The Comedian, showed his potential with a fine run behind Delegator a fortnight ago. Reynaldothewizard hardly ever runs badly and loves the track and trip so he's one who could snatch a place at a fair price while Primaeval, runner-up to Ip Man on his debut here, would be an obvious threat if getting a run from his reserve spot.
