In depth

Verdict

Gentleman Moore bids for swift compensation having unseated his rider at the start at Stratford during the week. Theatre Mill went close at Uttoxeter earlier in the month while veteran Cruchain beat Play The Ace at Stratford last month, though the second should reverse the form on the revised terms. Cooper's Friend and Oficial Ben may have more to offer and Ciceron and Our Cat are previous course winners but GOLD INGOT may be capable of conceding weight all round as it was a better race in which he was placed here at the start of the month.
