Silver Rebel Lightly raced but little form to speak of and seems harshly treated on handicap debut.
Ososhot Bumper winner who has failed to score over timber so far. Can be a bit of a tearaway and is best avoided until he learns to settle.
Kilgal Consistent sort on good ground, and won at Stratford last summer but his form on soft ground leaves a lot to be desired.
Wicked Imp Has been running really well without troubling the judge lately. Drop back in trip may help and cannot be ruled out completely.
Artist's Model Good third at Haydock in Novemebr but subsequently disappointing at Southwell. Tired swiftly when stepped up in trip last time and that would be the main worry here.
Chaparro Amargoso (IRE) Bumper winner who did not enjoy racing beyond three miles last time when pulled up. Had previously shown fair form in two races at around this trip and if returning to that sort of form would have a fair chance on handicap debut.
Salford Won well at Ludlow in December but very disappointing twice since then, including in a visor last time. Capable of going close but does not look one to trust.
Cottage Craft Reasonable chaser for Malcolm Jefferson and fairly treated on old hurdles form but is getting on a bit now and has lost his way of late.
Evening Scent Successful middle distance plater on the flat and made a good return to hurdles at Catterick last month. Races off the same mark here and this confirmed mudlark must have a great chance in what looks a weak affair.
Captaintwothousand Much improved performance when fifth to the well regarded Marmaduke Jinks at Haydock last month. A reproduction of that performance would give him a major chance in this.
Tom Costalot (IRE) Improved significantly on all previous form when a close second at Doncaster in January but has been absent since then. Not the easiest to assess but may have some improvement to come.
Match Maker (GER) Has been running in some decent company in his four starts over hurdles so far and seems fairly treated for his handicap debut. Steps up significantly in trip too, which should suit and he is definitely one for the shortlist.
Mr Tees Components Still a maiden and has been absent for almost two years so unlikely to play a leading role in this.
Eagle Canyon (IRE) Just touched off at Bangor two years ago. Absent last season and yet to live up to that form in three races since his return.
Frankie Willow (IRE) Ex-Irish, ran well when second at Huntingdon last month behind an unexposed sort, and not disgraced at Lingfield subsequently so must have a fair chance off this mark.
Benefit Has failed to progress since winning at Uttoxeter last June and has something to find with Frankie Willow on latest form.
Curtainsatchopwell (IRE) Tumbling down the weights but that's because his form has deteriorated and is not one to rely on here.
Rio Tinto Has shown little in three starts over timber, beaten a long way at Uttoxeter last time despite finishing third and hard to fancy on handicap debut.
