Monarchofthegrange was due to run yesterday at Doncaster, as was Dorking Lad. IRISH ODYSSEY has some scope and should have benefited from a pipe-opener at Leicester so is preferred to Perfect Predator, making his handicap debut having switched stables. Gunsight Ridge won a novice event at Doncaster but wasn’t convincing and has a softer surface to contend with. Courtland was raised 6lb after winning at Uttoxeter but can’t be ignored and Gortroe Joe will benefit from Liam Harrison’s claim. Sheriff Garrett and Pencreek may be best of the rest.
