Verdict
Grenfell can defy an absence to prevail, with Lord On The Run, In Extra Time and Own Line seen as the main dangers. Grenfell has not been seen since chasing home Iloveturtle at Haydock back in April, but his stable is on fire at present, and as the distance of today's race is not as exacting, he will hopefully be produced fit and ready to do the business. Lord On The Run has plenty of weight for what he has achieved so far, but he has the scope to do better, while In Extra Time is dangerous to rule out despite the fact that he has flopped on his last two starts. Penny Park will be all the better for the run, but will be expected to do well this term, and although Keltic Lord is not the force that he once was, he is well in on his best form. All in all though, we prefer the claims of Grenfell.
