Dianne Sayer is attempting to strike while the iron is hot with her mare COOL BARANCA, who followed up her win at Newcastle with a very comfortable success at Perth on Wednesday. A 7lb penalty is unlikely to thwart the hat-trick bid. Ruby Crown has been sent off favourite in her last three starts and is clearly thought capable of better. She could be the one for forecast-backers as Fashionable Gal weakened quickly on her handicap debut at Stratford and would prefer better ground. Definite Lady was well ahead of Ruby Crown at Towcester earlier this month but she's not really improving and Kim Bailey's mare can reverse placings here.
