In depth

Verdict

LONG WAVE (NAP) probably found the ground too lively when only third at Worcester last month. But the first two look useful novices and the fourth won next time so the form is decent and he can get the better of West End, who looks more of a staying type, and Spoil Me. Jonjo O'Neill's gelding steps up in trip after being returned a losing favourite over 2m2f here in July. Saddlers Deal won at Huntingdon at the start of the month but has his first run for a new yard here and Prince Des Marais may have been flattered by his latest second at Bangor. Like The Society Man and Sir Lynx, he's not really progressing.
