Verdict
Maiden hurdle winners ASTA LA PASTA and Macanogue are both penalised but the former’s yard has won two of the last three renewals so gets the vote. Askmore improved when finishing second at Carlisle but drops back down in trip for this while Daaris also posted a better effort when third at Doncaster recently and any further progress can see Kevin Frost’s charge in the mix. Taras Halls has winning form in bumpers but didn’t get far when falling at Wetherby on his hurdling bow.
