Another ordinary contest which won’t take much winning. The Blue Bomber may be 0-19 but he has been second three times over hurdles, including last time at Huntingdon off today’s mark. Steel City won at Catterick in January and heavy going was possibly to blame for a poor run next time at Bangor. Ortenzia was just beaten on her debut at Worcester in the autumn but has been well beaten in a couple of starts here since. Red Ochre should be capable of going close in a race like this but we’ll give a tentative vote to HEAR THE CHIMES. He was just behind The Blue Bomber at Leicester in January but is slightly better off at the weights and has since run respectably in a better race at Huntingdon.
