DESTINEE ROYALE is a half-brother to a winning chaser in France so there is a good chance he’ll improve on his form over hurdles now tackling the larger obstacles. Bbold may have needed his run at Doncaster last month and rates a danger. Mick Manhattan has a similar record to the selection but is a little more exposed. Barrowlands has won over hurdles this season and had finished second four times between the flags previously so fences shouldn’t be a problem, though he is a free-going type.
