Not many of these will end up at next year's Cheltenham Festival but MARKET MAKER made a promising start to his hurdling career when beating Arizona High by a half-a-length at Sedgefield 11 days ago. The weights suggest the runner-up should reverse the placings today but Tim Easterby's gelding still looked a little green that day and may be the more progressive of the pair. Fine Style unseated his rider early on in that Sedgefield race but had earlier finished ahead of Reach Out at Ffos Las and can't be ruled out. Red Mercury is Choc Thornton's only ride of the day but he'll need to improve dramatically on his Flat form to make his mark over timber.
