In depth

Verdict

Drums Of War is upped 5lb for winning at Sedgefield last month and faces tougher opposition in this. Generous Day scored over a longer trip here on Boxing Day but came up short off today’s mark back here last time. OTTER MOON has won a maiden hurdle so far but has been thereabouts in handicaps subsequently including a recent third at Huntingdon. This looks less competitive and Tom George’s charge gets the vote. Du Soleil and The Grinder remain out of form and hard to recommend.
