Verdict

The Society Man has won over hurdles here but is without a win in 20 starts over fences. He was placed over 2m4f last time but MAC LE COUTEAU makes more appeal. Evan Williams' hurdles winner made a promising start when third at Ludlow on his chasing bow and can land this with normal progress. Sir Lynx is back on a winning mark but was still well beaten when placed at Fakenham last time but Leney Cottage should improve and makes more appeal than the unreliable Oranger and Dr Dreamy.
