Verdict

Western Xpress only beat a couple home on debut at Ffos Las but still showed some promise. Pamela Lewis is another probable improver while George Moore saddles Not Another Monday who has been placed in a point-to-point. But we are going to concentrate on the three previous winners with the four-year-old PLAIN SAILING preferred to the older Clever Cookie, who has been off the track for a while, and narrow Kelso scorer Magic Present. John Ferguson's charge quickened nicely to pick up the odds-on Clondaw Draft at Stratford last time and the pair were clear of the remainder.
