Verdict

Gentleman Valley looked one to follow when landing a Uttoxeter handicap over this trip but jumped poorly at Worcester in October and has had a break. MARTHA BRAE is a strong staying type who should be ideally suited to a likely fast pace here. She just failed over Fontwell's 3m2f last time and can gain her third victory over timber to add to her bumper success. Let's Have Another won a 2m4f maiden here in April and a novices' event on a return visit in October. He didn't look happy over fences last time and should do much better here. Kingofthewest was in excellent form at this time a year ago but has failed to fire in handicaps in his last two starts. The remaining pair are not out of what looks a tight handicap.
