    Verdict

The unbeaten GRAN LUNA followed a bumper win at Newbury last year with a victory at the same track on her hurdling bow. She’ll need another step forward to take up an entry in the Dawn Run at Cheltenham next month but has undergone wind surgery and there should be plenty more to come. Marada carries a double penalty back at this level having returned a beaten favourite in a handicap at Ludlow while Martello Sky landed a maiden hurdle at Fakenham when beating a subsequent winner. Shore Shanty is another maiden winner though disappointed in soft going at Wincanton last time. D'Edge Of Glory was engaged at Wincanton yesterday.
