Verdict

Mondo Cane returns to chasing off a 2lb higher mark having won over hurdles at Towcester but Huntingdon winner Pandy Wells could not cope with a 6lb rise at Doncaster last time when behind runner-up The Mumper. The latter should be in the mix and is preferred to Safari Journey, who finished closer at Huntingdon last time, but the vote goes to UNO VALOROSO (NAP). Mark Walford's charge has been competing in tougher handicaps than this without success and looks worth another chance back at this level.
