Dragon Khan is often thereabouts but has a terrible strike-rate and isn’t getting any younger so we’ll concentrate on those in the top half of the handicap. Fubar has lost his way but slips further down the ratings and is also eased in grade. Just Marvin might need this and is more exposed than the likes of Oasis Prince and NUMBERS MAN. The former met trouble in-running on his handicap debut at Huntingdon and, with Bryony Frost taking over the reins from a conditional, better is expected but the latter makes his handicap debut having had just the three starts over timber and might have more scope. The four-year-old Tamaris could also figure.
