Verdict

Market support for the jumps-bred John Ferguson newcomer Scarteen would have to be taken seriously but SAND BLAST surely deserves a change of luck having only found one too good in three runs so far. The Oasis Dream gelding is preferred to dual Fontwell runner-up Our Three Sons and the returning Infinityandbeyond. Keeper Hill has plenty of stamina in his pedigree and Nobel Leader won a maiden point at Stradbally in May by a distance, though probably had little to beat.
