Verdict

Martha Mccandles won at Exeter last month and is upped only 3lb. She should be thereabouts again and is preferred to Lady Markby, who has been placed in maiden hurdles the last twice now. Mo Chailin has crept up the weights after several placed efforts in this grade and a conditional takes 5lb off her back today but another chance goes to ONE BIG LOVE (NAP). The latter failed to complete behind the progressive Nordic Nymph in better company at Kempton last time but her earlier placed efforts give Harry Fry’s mare every chance in this grade and she gets the nod with Appletree Lane remaining out of form.
