Alternator gets the narrow vote here over Valiant Shadow and Rashartic. The selection has done enough on his three runs to date to make him the one to beat here. He goes on the ground and just about sees out this trip and with his yard in form he should have too much for his rivals. Valiant Shadow showed promise on his hurdling bow but the suspicion is that he will be seen to better effect once he goes handicapping and for that reason we will take him on. Rashartic chased home Nawaadi on his hurdling bow at Taunton and as that was an improvement on his bumper form he is worth considering today as he is clearly going the right way. You Bet is an interesting newcomer and should be noted in the market, but Alternator has the best form on show here and he looks the one to beat.
