    Verdict

Not too many have displayed creditable form of late and this is be a chance for LADY BABS to notch a third career success - both wins to date having come over course and distance. She also went close here earlier in the season and is one of the more likely ones to give her running on the available evidence. Three Platoon looks a major player as a handicap debutant taking on his elders after three respectable efforts in maiden and novice hurdle company. He landed a staying handicap on the level in Wolverhampton in December 2021 and the champion jockey is booked. More To Follow is one to note in the market on handicap bow, whilst Fanfan Du Seuil and Sword Beach could take a hand if finding the best of their form - which is not always the case.
