Verdict

MAXED OUT KING and Miss Amelia have both won this season but the remainder generally struggle to get their heads in front. Sue Smith’s veteran remains in decent form and wasn’t beaten far over a shorter trip here on Boxing Day while Mark Walford’s mare is a previous course winner but Broughtons Rhythm has had plenty of chances and Hurricane Vic returns from a break. Joly Maker has gone backwards since scoring at Southwell in the autumn so Divine Port may prove the pick of the remainder.
