In depth

Verdict

BLUE HUSSAR found the 3m trip in testing ground beyond him when sent off joint-favourite at Wetherby last time. Micky Hammond’s charge had earlier placed at the same track in a higher grade contest than this and a similar effort should see him go close. Highway Girl has undergone a wind operation since last in action and a tongue-tie is also fitted today but Oscars Leader finished closer over 2m here last time, though has plenty to prove over this extra distance. Seemingly So struggled on his reappearance and headgear is applied while though Compadre won over fences at this fixture last year he would prefer faster going.
