In depth

Verdict

ULTIMATUM DU ROY ran a big race when third to Saroque in much better company than this at Newbury last month. Tony McCoy gets the leg-up today and Alex Hales six-year-old is preferred to Presence Felt. The latter has a shout on his latest fourth at Haydock which looks superior form to Legendary Hop's victory over 2m4f here back in November - the latter also has a 9lb hike in the weights to contend with. Plum Pudding appears to have gone off the boil a little but may get involved if reproducing the form of earlier placed efforts.
