Verdict

BAN UISCE ran out of steam over 3m at Uttoxeter last month and was relegated into third in the last strides. Today's shorter distance and a conditional's claim should help bring an end to his long losing run, especially as he has little to beat in this. Farewellatmidnight remains 5lb higher than when scoring at Fakenham in April and has been well beaten since while Mad Professor will need to reproduce his earlier third at Southwell to figure. It's hard to make any sort of case for the remainder.
