Verdict

COURTLAND relishes genuine summer jumping going and a further rise up the weights for another success at Warwick may not be enough to stop him here. Hidden Commander has done all his winning around left-handed tracks so it remains to be seen whether he will be as effective going this way around. That will be no issue for Hidden Depths given he won an event at Kempton in May at particularly juicy odds. Captain Tom Cat was fifth in the Summer Plate in 2021 off a mark of 147 and arrives into this assignment off a mark some 27lbs lower.
