Verdict

McCoy has a decent chance again in this on Old Pals Act but his mount remains on a high enough mark and struggles to get his head in front. Dungeness could be clumsy over hurdles and fell on his only previous try over fences. He'll have to be careful over these tricky obstacles but Tayarat has been a reformed character and is on a hat-trick, though is 8lb higher than for his latest success at Southwell. GHOST OF A SMILE is still a bit of a baby but did win over hurdles at Huntingdon in March and should do even better now tackling fences. He has more scope than these and can defy top weight.
