Leapt has to be of interest as he's very unexposed and gets in here off a decent mark for his handicap bow. However he didn't really beat that much at Southwell the last day and may find this tougher, so we'll take him on with CAPE HIDEAWAY. The Walford inmate continues to put in a good shift over timber whilst also showing up prominently on the level. He wasn't beaten far in a fair Aintree hurdle last time and has gone well in the past for Emma Todd. Collodi has not been around much in the last couple of years but did run well at Newton Abbot last month suggesting he retains a decent level of ability. He'd have a good chance here if building on that effort, with Captain Felix, Rockalzaro and Back To Balloo also noted in what should prove quite a competitive finale.
Captain Felix 7-1 (11-7) Tracked leader, every chance 3 out, ridden and weakened from last, 7th of 12, 18 1/4l behind Peruvien Bleu (12-0) at Ludlow 2m hcp (4) gd in Oct.
Rockalzaro (FR) 12-1 (10-3) Chased leaders, not fluent 2 out, went 2nd after 2 out, no impression on winner, slow and lost 2nd last, 3rd of 6, 29 3/4l behind Card Game (11-3) at Hexham 2m 4f hcp (3) gd in Jun.
Collodi (GER) 12-1 (11-4) Chased leaders, ridden and every chance last (normal 2 out), lost 2nd flat, kept on same pace, 3rd of 9, 1 1/2l behind Kohuma (10-13) at Newton Abbot 2m 1f hcp (4) gd in Jun.
Go West Young Man (IRE) 8-1 (10-11) Held up towards rear, headway after 12th, hampered before next, went 2nd after 4 out, 5 lengths down when cocked jaw, hung right and refused to go, got going again slowly to take remote 4th latter stages, 4th of 9, dist behind Nightline (11-10) at Bangor 3m hcp (4) gd in May.
King Muro 20-1 (10-12) Held up in rear, not fluent 5th, ridden before 2 out, soon well beaten, 8th of 12, 31 1/4l behind Romanor (10-10) at Stratford 2m hcp (3) gf in Jun.
Back To Balloo (IRE) 8-1 (11-10) Prominent, led 3rd, soon clear, ridden before last, held on well towards finish, won at Hexham 2m hcp (5) gd in May beating Rock N'stones (10-0) by 2l, 11 ran.
Leapt 3-1 (10-9) Hampered 1st (usual 3rd), mid-division, tracked leaders next, went 2nd 2 out, ridden to challenge between last 2, led after last, ran on (all flights in back straight omitted due to low sun), won at Southwell 2m (4) gd in Jun beating Lucky Robin (10-12) by 1 3/4l, 9 ran.
Rob's Legacy 40-1 (8-12) Always behind, 10th of 11, 15 1/2l behind Dream Serenade (9-1) at Southwell 1m 4f hcp (6) pol in Feb.
Cape Hideaway 15-2 (11-4) Mid-division, tracked leaders 5th, blundered 2 out, every chance last, ridden to lead briefly flat, kept on, held towards finish, 2nd of 11, 2l behind Atomic Rumble (11-4) at Aintree 2m 4f hcp (4) gd in Jun.
Rough Justice (IRE) 25-1 (11-9) Towards rear, weakened before 13th, tailed off, pulled up, at Wetherby 3m hcp (4) gs in Nov.
