At the time of writing Billy Cuckoo was scheduled to contest a three-runner novice chase at Wetherby on Thursday evening and would need to be considered if turning out again. However, the choice is MR NOSIE on his first run for Nicky Richards. Fourth in the 2006 Royal & Sun Alliance Novices Hurdle at Cheltenham for Noel Meade, he was then sidelined, remarkably, for nearly five years before returning to action for Dessie Hughes in Ireland, running a series of solid races in useful chase company. He should be good enough if ready for his first run since last October. Prince Of Denial didn't do too badly behind Eastlake at Wetherby last time and Eddie G has his first run for Gary Moore since shaping well in a couple of Irish points last year.
