Verdict

Doitforthevillage was given a very confident ride to score again at Lingfield last week. He’s now won three of his seven starts over fences and, despite the penalty and big weight, goes on the short-list again. MINELLA FIVEO has always looked the type to do well over the larger obstacles, however, so it’s to his credit that he managed to win three times over hurdles, including last time at Uttoxeter. He gets the nod, though the lightly-raced Handsome Sam should make a staying chaser in time. Coole Charmer was second at Bangor before being pulled up on bottomless ground at Lingfield and deserves another chance.
