In depth

Verdict

In an interesting race, the vote goes to Winsley, with Jack's Craic, Von Origny and Blairgowrie respected as dangers. Winsley won well at Towcester last time, looked an improved performer over jumps there, and can build on that impression today. Jack's Craic is bred to make a chaser and, being a winning hurdler that justified his rating of 115 or so, he is respected. Winning hurdler Von Origny is also very much respected, although his stable has yet to hit form, while Classic Capers was good enough to win over hurdles and will be fit following his third to Spirit Of New York at Stratford last time. Finally, Blairgowrie who is also bred to jump fences, looked good when winning his novice hurdle, and gets a very good mention too. It's hard to be confident about the selection, but Winsley should go well.
