Verdict
Harambe fulfilled earlier promise when scoring at Kempton and makes more appeal than New Quay, who has disappointed since a victory in a novices’ handicap at Ascot in November. GARRETTSTOWN was successful over track and trip in January and second on a return visit the following month when tackling slightly further. He weakened quickly last month at Sandown and was pulled up but was up against some smart novices that day and didn’t appear to enjoy the soft going and stiff track. This should be more to his liking and he could complete a quick double for trainer and jockey. I'm Wiser Now has shown ability in bumpers and is an interesting recruit to hurdling but Lyndsays Lad is not one of Nicky Henderson’s stable stars.
