Verdict

Already a point-to-point and bumper winner, CHIANTI CLASSICO made an impressive start to his hurdling career at Chepstow when getting the better of the odds-on Henri The Second. There is some room for improvement in the jumping department but he may be capable of giving 7lb to Park Hill Dancer, who was 2-2 in bumpers. Nightboat To Cairo should make a hurdler with Steal My Sunshine making most appeal of the remainder.
