In depth

Verdict

Addiction was 2l behind Rydalis at Fontwell in November but is 10lb better off. He jumped poorly at Huntingdon last time and will need to do better as will the winner, who has been raised 5lb. Father Probus has been handed a 9lb rise for last month's victory at Fontwell, which looks harsh, and though Kellystown Lad has dropped to a lowly mark he was beaten a long way when runner-up at Taunton last time. EMPEROR CONCERTO isn't the most consistent of performers but won a Haydock handicap last March from just 1lb lower and in that kind of form would be the one to beat. Milo MIlan has been a beaten favourite on his last two starts and is probably still a few pounds high.
