In depth

Verdict

Oscargo got off the mark over fences when scoring at Chepstow. He still has a few pound to play with on his best form over hurdles and should go close again under a penalty. However, VICTOR LEUDORUM's 6lb penalty for scoring at Ascot three weeks ago is greatly reduced by a conditional's allowance and Charlie Mann's charge is fancied to take advantage. Bold Chief has decent claims if translating his hurdling form to the larger obstacles but Manics Man and Silver Commander have plenty to find with the principals in this company and the once-useful Spirit River is even harder to fancy on recent form.
