Verdict
A certain amount of guesswork is involved here with many having a first run in public. Armathia placed twice at Wincanton last season, however, while Chatty Chich was third over track and trip in May while Metkayina started favourite when third at Galway last month. Solid Silver headed the market at Lingfield less than two weeks ago but could only managed fifth. BING BELLE’s yard does well in races of this type and Sam Twiston-Davies has a good strike-rate for the stable so the daughter of Royal Anthem is worth a second look along with fellow newcomers Jena D'Oudairies - a half-sister to a winning bumper, hurdler and chaser - and Jakana.
