In depth

Verdict

La Renommee is the only one with experience over fences and she is 2-2 over course and distance. Richard Newland’s mare is likely to be in the firing-line again but faces some newcomers with potential to make better chasers than hurdlers. Kalpaga is one and POETIC MUSIC is another. The latter has a terrific strike-rate having won three bumpers and three hurdle races in just 10 career starts. Her former stablemate Pougne Aminta is also worth a second look and Passing Reflection should be winning soon. It's Easy and Malaita could also figure if fully wound-up.
