Nonrunner
Opera De Coeur is the most interesting runner here but can't be put forwards with confidence so we'll take a chance with PING PONG SIVOLA in a really good little race. Opera De Coeur looked likely to take high order over fences early in his career but he has had his problems and it remains to be seen how much ability he retains. Maletton is another runner at the head of the weights on a retrieval mission whilst Our Jasper failed to respond to the fitting of blinkers at Southwell. Majorca is respected but he's had a few chances and we prefer to take a chance with one of the less exposed contenders. Ambrosinni has progressed with each and every start and did well enough in his two runs over hurdles to believe that he can make his mark over fences this season and it's certainly interesting to see him start off here. Picot De Say isn't the biggest but he jumped well to score on his chase bow at this venue and may be able to cope with his 8lb higher mark although this is much tougher. Ping Pong Sivola has plenty of experience over fences in France but her latest run at Bangor was her first over fences on Albion's shores. That was a fair enough performance and she can be expected to improve for this step up to a more suitable trip and we'll take Ping Pong Sivola to hit the back of the net.
