In depth

Verdict

FIRE DANCER stopped quickly and was pulled up in a novices’ handicap at Cheltenham latest but that wasn’t his form. A winner here the time before, he is back in the right grade. Charles Ritz, placed between the flags, has been lightly raced and is an interesting newcomer to chasing as is Zestful Hope, who has won three times over hurdles. Cartonne has won both starts over fences at Musselburgh so can’t be ignored, despite a further 6lb rise.
