Verdict

COOLNAUGH HAZE (NAP) looks worth another chance in this. The soft going here last time took its toll on Philip Hobbs’ charge in the closing stages but he’d won a maiden hurdle on good ground before that with the re-opposing Technological behind and should make a bold bid. Timberman has the beating of Just The Man though is 6lb higher than when scoring at Kempton earlier and finished behind runner-up Fontana Ellissi at Taunton last month. The latter disappointed on heavy going last time but makes more appeal than The Grey Falco.
