Verdict

A Bridge Too Far is out of an unraced half-sister to a couple of bumper winners so looks the part on paper and his yard get their share of winners in these races. CAPTAIN JOHN SMITH is out of the top class Lady Rebecca and his two siblings have both been successful; he is unlikely to come into his own until tackling a trip over hurdles but stamina is key in bumpers as well and he may be able to make a winning debut. Furrows was relatively short in the market ahead of his debut and can fare better whilst William Percival may be able to improve on the form he's shown to date.
